Nove LLC and its affiliates (“Nove,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operate various websites and digital applications (collectively, the “Platform”), including but not limited to www.noverenewal.com, and may operate associated mobile applications now or in the future. This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Platform, its content (“Content”), the services and products offered through the Platform, and any affiliated software or websites (collectively, the “Service”), unless a separate privacy policy is provided.

By accessing or using the Service, registering for an account, or engaging with any part of our offerings, you acknowledge and agree to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable legal obligations, and we will notify you of material changes as required by law.

If you are using our Service on behalf of someone else, you affirm that you are authorized to act on their behalf and that they are aware of and accept this Privacy Policy.

When you create an account with Nove, you may provide us with personal details like your name, email address, and contact information, which are not considered “protected health information” under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). However, if you use services involving diagnosis, treatment, or prescription fulfillment, your medical information may be shared with licensed medical professionals or pharmacies and may be subject to HIPAA or other state privacy laws.

To the extent that Nove acts as a business associate to a HIPAA-covered entity (e.g., a medical provider or pharmacy), we will safeguard “protected health information” (PHI) in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. Information not deemed PHI or otherwise protected may be used or shared as described in this policy.

Each medical group or provider offering services through Nove will provide you with their own Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs their use of your health information.

HIPAA Compliance & Protected Health Information (PHI)

Nove LLC is committed to safeguarding your Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), applicable state laws, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

To the extent that we function as a Business Associate of HIPAA-covered entities (such as licensed medical providers or pharmacies), we will use and disclose PHI solely for the purposes of treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Nove implements appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your PHI from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

All healthcare providers who offer services through our Platform will present their own HIPAA-compliant Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs their use and disclosure of PHI. Nove’s internal privacy and security measures are designed to complement those Notices.

Patient Rights Regarding PHI

As a user of our services, you have the following rights with respect to your PHI under HIPAA:

  • Right to Amend – You may request corrections to your health information if you believe it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to an Accounting of Disclosures – You may request a record of certain disclosures of your PHI.
  • Right to Request Restrictions – You can ask us to limit how your PHI is used or disclosed.
  • Right to Confidential Communications – You may request to receive communications through alternative means or locations.
  • Right to File a Complaint – If you believe your rights under HIPAA have been violated, you may file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office for Civil Rights.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
